- Do you take a percentage of my award?
- Never. Flat, published fees per application: the package and, if one of our reviewers reads it, the expert review. The success-fee model (typically $2,500–$15,000 plus 5% of every drawdown) is exactly what we exist to replace.
- Who owns my research and data?
- You do. Your documents are never used to train models and never shared beyond your workspace, the people you invite, and the reviewer you book. Deleting an application removes it from your dashboard, but we keep its files and text so a mistaken delete can be undone. To have an application's data removed for good, contact the Continuum team. Grant materials are treated as NDA-grade confidential.
- Won't reviewers flag AI-written text?
- We don't generate generic AI prose. Drafts are constructed from your own spoken and typed words (a voice-first kickoff interview), and the UI shows that lineage. You own the science; we shape the story.
- Can you write my biosketch?
- Not from scratch. We can draft biosketch content only from that person's own CV, for them to check and enter in SciENcv, which produces the PDF you submit. Current & Pending (Other) Support is never drafted: each person enters their own projects and writes their own overlap statements. We review both against the NOFO's requirements.
- What is the expert review step?
- A qualified specialist reads your near-final application, pokes holes in both the science and the commercial case, and comments in place. Submit opens once their notes are resolved. Our reviewers charge $1,000 to $2,000, set by how early you book; a reviewer you invite yourself costs nothing.
- Is this TABA-eligible?
- Yes. You can write us into your grant budget as a Technical & Business Assistance resource, often at no out-of-pocket cost.
- Can I use the platform without the expert review?
- Not to submit. You can draft the whole application for free, but every application gets a reviewer's read before Submit. That can be a grant writer you already work with, at no charge, instead of one of ours. The package itself is $4,500, paid at Submit, like TurboTax: you pay when you take your finished package.
